DescriptionLocationCancellation Policy The purpose of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) is to promote and maintain a high level of public trust in appraisal practice by establishing requirements for appraisers. USPAP reflects current standards of the appraisal profession including ethical and performance obligations. This course addresses the most recent changes to USPAP, effective January 1, 2024, as well as the rationale for and impact of those changes, most of which involve the Nondiscrimination section of the Ethics Rule. The course also explores common USPAP issues and discusses a variety of topics affecting appraisal professionals and how USPAP applies to them. The course is USPAP application based, permitting the participants to complete a variety of exercises and case studies, through either individual or group work.
