Course Description

Discrepancies in size are one of the major complaints against appraisers, particularly for E&O claims. The value of a residential property is often directly related to its size, and there are other real estate professionals, besides appraisers, who rely on accurate size calculations, including real estate agents and assessors. In addition, since Fannie Mae now requires strict adherence to the ANSI Z765-2021 standard, it is important that appraisers understand the implications of completing assignments for Fannie Mae requests. This course provides an overview of ANSI Z765-2021 and how it can be applied by a real estate professional, including in-class calculation examples.
